2020 has been a remarkable year.
From Covid-19 and lockdown to the departure of Trump, the climate crisis, populism, and Brexit.

My favourite track of my second album is Jeff Are You Beck? I still think that Jeff Beck is the absolute master on the guitar. An incredible source of inspiration. In this tribute I like to remind him of his long absences from playing when he is having fun with his cars! And now in February 2023 we preserve his legacy and hope he may RIP.

Star is dedicated to a little puppy dog from a close friend who didn't make it. A long sad track that expresses how loss of life can affect us. Luckily compensated by the fresh violin of Emily V from California on Beat the Logic where we jump from an Irish fiddle to an eighties groove to prog. A bit of 10CC?

Opening track Lockdown reflects on the onset of Covid and the enormous amount of people who fell victim to it. There is a video with this track that is worth watching posted on the LTJ You Tube Channel. But it Matters!, that echoes the Black Lives Matters demonstrations in the US and here in Western Europe, has a video as well on this channel.

In The Thunberg Effect we hear a roaring volcano telling us that time is limited if we want to do something about climate change. A bit of Greta is definitely there. On a more positive note we can listen to Wonders of the World which is a journey along beautiful places on this planet. Just like Life as it is which portrays the cycle of life.

Got a Loving Fire started as a Wishbone Ash style track but when vocalist Mariia Arkhipova got wind of it something that reminds me of Beth Heart and Joss Stone was inserted. I love it! Great groovy track.
